Capture The Moment By Ana was founded in 2018 by an award-winning Sydney Inner West newborn photographer, Ana. Newborn photography was her passion. She loved seeing the world as well as experiencing different cultures and learning foreign languages. Ana Joined a student exchange program to expand her world when she was 16 years old, to Costa Rica, and that’s where she learnt her Spanish. After her high school in Costa Rica, Ana went back to Thailand and earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics. As soon as she graduated from the Economics, she travelled to Australia planning for a Master’s degree in Economics but she realised working in the office 9 to 5 would not be the life she wanted. She then studied Advanced Diploma of Business instead and after that she moved to study Diploma of Hairdressing then pursued her Australian Citizenship.

MEET ANA
Because having a full-time job in Sydney made my life great, I did not think about pursuing my dream of being a photographer earlier. Plus I heard a lot of people at my old workplace saying that these days everyone got a smartphone, why would they need a photographer. That was kind of true, I thought. But that did not stop me, somehow. Taking up a side hustle as a freelance photographer in Sydney for some years, capturing beautiful moments for many families was such a wonderful feeling. I only had a camera with many lens and a computer because I was only shooting outdoor. Not too many things!
One day one of my work colleague asked me to photograph her newborn baby and I said ok, thinking in my head ‘of course, I can do this. How hard is it gonna be?’ And I was so wrong! Not only that I could not do it, I was not even trained for it. Well, the session was done and I was loving every minutes of it. The newborn baby was so tiny and so cute. How parents were so gentle to their baby and just everything about it got me hooked.
