Creative newborn photography is a beautiful and unique styles that many parents love. It can be artistic styles, moody styles, or simple but creative. But as a professional newborn photographer is Sydney Inner West, what creative newborn photography means to me?
My professional newborn photography studio is located at Leichhardt, Sydney Inner West. We provide props, outfits and everything clients love at our photography studio. And I believe all professional newborn photographers have their own styles and visions. But once in a while, maybe in the quiet time during the day, the idea of something different would pop up in our heads. We then would think, ‘Why don’t we do that?’ Or ‘We can try this?’. And that’s usually how creative newborn photography styles and poses started.
Another common reasons of how creative newborn photography started for me is ‘clients request’.
Clients Request
Clients request can be a root of starting something new. It can be challenging but as a professional newborn photography in Sydney, I love taking up the challenge. Great professional newborn photographers should be open to any ideas that clients love because we aim to deliver best service and create the most beautiful portraits for our clients. If clients requests something and we can see that we can make it happen, we will do it! Many times, it is out of our comfort zone but if we do it, that’s the start of a creative newborn photography.
Baby with Glam
This was a client request style. When the client shared with me this is what they love and they want something similar to this style, I honestly told them it’s not my style and unfortunately, I didn’t have those props. Especially, those big brand names bags and some other luxury stuffs. Unexpectedly, clients told me they had order those props online and they got them ready for me to use them for their baby photo session. I was like, WOW! Ok, Lets Do It!
Parents brought in their Chanel Bags, Hermes Bags, Dior Bags and a lot more!
And it went just AMAZING!
Baby with Pokemon Friends
This setups was a client requests. Parents brought in lot of Pokemon soft toys and a rare Pokemon card. They left it with me to create a setup for their baby using these toys they brought in. As a professional newborn photographer in Sydney, I spent the time thinking and visualising the setups I had in minds during the feeding breaks. Given that the baby was not easy to settle and had a very light sleep, super easy to wake up and cry, I came up with this simple setups. I decided to place the baby side posing in a basket because I realised he seemed to feel comfortable and like this side posing. Then I placed some Pokemon soft toys around the basket. I placed the rare Pokemon card in the middle because that’s his Dad’s special request.
Parents love this setups because Pokemon is their special collection and it meant so much to them. I was absolutely happy I could create something special like this for my clients. They love it and I love it too!
Creative newborn photography for me is open to new ideas and listen to clients requests. Apart from creating beautiful art portraits, making my clients happy is what I try to achieve.
