Daddy and Me Photo Session
Daddy and me photo session is overjoy. Even though it is mum who carry the baby in the belly for 40 weeks but dad surely goes through so much as well. Dad cares so much for both mum and the baby and usually won’t miss any doctor appointments as well.
As a professional baby photographer in Sydney, I always photograph family, siblings, mum and baby as well as dad and baby. It is wonderful that we create the whole experience with the whole family for mum and dad to select their family portraits to share with their family for a lifetime.
Dark Background Colour
When it comes to daddy and me photo session, I love to set up my session with the dark background colour backdrop. It is a darker tone, darker moon and gives more masculine feelings. But of course, I do light background colour backdrop for daddy and me photo session too. I usually do both dark and light backdrop set ups to give more variety for dad to choose from.
Daddy and Me Poses
Facing Towards The Camera
One of my favourite daddy and me poses is daddy holds the baby on his chest and facing towards the camera. It gives the clear look of how small and tiny the baby is when in daddy’s arms. It is very artistic and it is one of our Sydney dads favourite pose to make a large canvas or large frame fine art print for their home.
Baby Face On Dad’s Shoulder
Another beautiful pose for dad and me photo session at my baby photography studio in Sydney is baby face on dad’s shoulder. This pose is where dad holds the baby up on his shoulder similar to when he burbs the baby. At 45 degree angle, I can capture the beautiful face of the baby on dad’s arm and shoulder. It shows my small and tiny the baby is when they were just born weeks into the world. It also shows how much love and care dad has for the baby. It is undeniable that daddy’s love is a true unconditional love.
Side Pose Baby on Dad’s Arms
Baby can be posed on dad’s arm with their hands and feet holding on to dad’s arm. It is a side pose for the baby. It is a great pose of daddy and me photo session because it shows the baby’s length compared to dad’s arm that they are so small and tiny when they were newborn babies. It is just another beautiful pose for daddy and me photo session.
As a professional baby photographer in Sydney, I really can not choose which pose is the best for daddy and me photo session. That’s why I tend to pose a few poses for dad because usually mums and dads love them all.
