Mum and Me Poses Ideas
Mum and me poses ideas are useful when it comes to posing the little ones with mums. As a professional baby photographer in Sydney, it can be a little of a challenge when there are multiple babies or a baby with toddler siblings. But that’s what baby photography love and passion comes in handy. Baby photography is not only about clicking the shutter but also including designing, creativity, patience, kid’s friendly and love as well as passion. We love capturing those beautiful moments for our Sydney parents and we make it happen!
The Poses
At Capture The Moment By Ana Photography, we specialise in posed newborn and baby photography. And because we love posed poses, we do posed poses for our parents and family portraits as well. Sometimes, it can be candid but we try to shoot as many angles as we can for some variety for our Sydney parents to choose from.
Most professional photographers will guide the clients how to pose. The same applies to baby photographers too. We love guiding and assisting our parents how to pose and we try our best to make feel most comfortable during the session so we can get those beautiful relaxing smiles.
Mum and Me Poses
It is simple as it sounds, Mum and Me poses are the poses for mum and her babies. As a professional baby photographer in Sydney, I love the idea of being feminine when it comes to mum poses. When we talk about mum and me poses, I get the feeling of female, feminism, gentle, emotional, sweet, strong, intelligent, and so caring. Therefore, most of our mum and me poses usually represents feminism, sweetness and gentleness. Our mum and me poses ideas can be with dark colour background such as black or dark grey. Also it can be done with lighter colours background such as white or cream colour. The backlighting is also one of my favourite mum and me poses ideas.
Backlighting Poses
As I mentioned earlier that backlighting poses ideas is one of my favourite pose and it is also our Sydney parents’ favourite too. Here are some examples.
Dark Colours Background
With mum and me poses on the dark colours background gives more of the artistic looks and feels. What I love to create for our mum and me poses for dark colour background is posing mum holding the baby and wrapping around with the beautiful textured fabric. It gives the feeling of motherly, happiness, fulfilment, and softness. It is such a beautiful mum and me pose and our Sydney mums love this pose.
Light Colour Background
Light colour background for mum and me poses ideas can be done with white or cream backdrop or even beige colour backdrop. At Capture The Moment By Ana Photography Studio in Sydney, we prefer to use either white colour backdrop or cream colour backdrop. With the light colour background for mum and me poses, it can be done as simple as posing mum holding the baby in her arms facing the camera. With this pose, be mindful that baby can move around so be extra careful. As a professional baby photographer in Sydney, we do have an assistant helping during the session. But if you do not have an assistant to help out during the session, maybe it is a good idea to ask dad to help out. Another thing to remember is, if mum feels uncomfortable with the pose or get tired during the mum and me poses, do not force her. Take a break and let mum have some rest before continue on. Baby’s safety is the most important for baby photography but it is no less important for mum’s safety.
