Shades Of Green For Baby Photography
Shades of green for baby photography is a fun topic to be discussed every time the baby photographers are designing and preparing for their baby photo sessions. As a professional baby photographer in Sydney and with years of experience setting up all the props for our Sydney babies, I can’t tell enough how much I love colours. Let’s talk about shades of green!
Names Of The Greens
When we talk about green or when our parents told me they want green colour for their baby photo session, it just comes up in my brain automatically ‘Oh, green colour. Yes.’
Then when it’s time for design the props and I walked in to my wraps storage and I would be like ‘Hang on a minute. Which greens did they mean?’. And that’s when I started to realise that next time I better ask the parents which shades of green they like. Well, we all learn by experience, right? Trust me, with years of experience of being a baby photographer in Sydney, I have made so many mistakes and I have learned a lot from it as well. It is true and no shame to admit that learn from our mistakes and we grow!
Did you know that shades of green has names? It is usually named after that green. For example, the lighter green colour of limes – this shade of green we call it ‘lime’. For the shades of green names – lime, moss, teal, avocado, seafood green, egg blue, jade, hunter green, etc. There are so many colours for shades of green. Therefore, as a professional baby photographer in Sydney, I do make sure I ask our Sydney parents properly which green they like. Many times, they like a few shades of green so mixing them up for a prop setup can resulting in a stunning portrait.
Awareness Ribbons
Did you know that ribbons are also used to raise awareness for mental disorder. Today, awareness ribbons come in all sizes and colours and each of the colour has a unique meaning. For shades of green ribbon, we have ‘traditional green’ that support over 40 different causes and awareness campaigns for medical condition and raising awareness campaigns such as bipolar disorder, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and natural disasters. Lime green ribbons not only raise awareness for childhood depression, childhood mental illness and childhood mood disorders but also for other medical conditions such as Lyme disease, postpartum depression and muscular dystrophy.
Green Is Good For Eyesight
Shades of green colours are also known for easing the eyesight. When you stare at the screen for too long and your eyesights get a little bit tired and blurry, you need to give you eyes some rest. Have you ever heard they said ‘look at the green colour to rest your eyes’? Shades of green colour ease our eyes so looking at the greenery or just the trees or plants in your backyard helps relaxing your eyes. Find more information from an article from CNN here.
