TOP 5 PROPS I LOVE
Top 5 Props I love are the props I have in my newborn photography studio in Sydney! Being a posed newborn photographer, it’s undeniable that we do love props and we do invest a lot on our props. Now you might think where do I get my props from and I will share that with you in this post.
BUCKETS
Buckets are one of the must-have props for posed newborn photography and for most posed newborn photographers. I have had many buckets where I purchased from all different vendors. I have learnt through time that some buckets work better than others and that depends on many other things as well such as baby weigh and the style as well as the posing itself.
My most favourite bucket is the bucket I purchased from Hello Little Props. I love the size of the bucket and I also have many bucket huggers. I love that I can just pop the bucket hugger in and change it to a different hugger when I want a different colours for a different setups. It’s very simple but yet the easiest way!
I do have quite a few bucket huggers. As a posed newborn photographer in Sydney, I can say that even though I have many bucket huggers, it can never be enough!
MOON PILLOWS
Oh I love love love the moon pillows and they are my clients’ favourite props too! All of my clients requested the moon pillow for their baby’s photoshoot with me. I can not compare the moon pillows from other vendors because I only got all of them from one vendor which is The Original PhotoBlocks Props.
They have many different colours for the moon pillows and I have got 4 colours. I do have white, pink, beige and yellow. They’re photographed beautifully. I also have little stars in every colours to match the moon pillow in each newborn photo session.
LITTLE CHAIR
I wanted this little chair for such a long time. Every times they were out of order and the ones that were available were not what I wanted. They were either too wide or too big for my liking. And eventually, I saw a post on Luneberry Props that they have this perfect size chair on their website again and I just jumped into it very quickly! Finally, I got one!
I love this little chair because I feel like it is so cute on any newborn babies.
MOSES BASKET
I never thought I’d get the Moses Basket for my newborn photography studio in Sydney because I used to think it is more for the lifestyle newborn photography but I changed my mind when I saw The Original PhotoBlocks Props have the mini size Moses Basket for newborns. I decided to make the purchase and gave it a try. And when I got it, Oh My… it changed my whole perspective! I could see in my vision what I was going to create and I made it happen! I love love it!
WIRE BASKET
I always wanted one of these beautiful Wire Baskets but it was difficult to find the oval shape. Again, I saw The Original PhotoBlocks Props had it on their shop so I jumped in quickly. I love it because to me, as a newborn photographer, I feel like it is truely timeless props. It’s simple but yet timeless. I don’t need much of other props to work with this wire basket to create a beautiful setups for my newborns clients because it’s photographed so beautifully and parents love it too.
