One of the most common pieces of advice I give to expecting parents is this: book your newborn session early.

Newborn photography is ideally done within the first 1–4 weeks after your baby is born. During this time, babies are sleepier, more settled, and naturally curl into those beautiful, womb-like poses.
As babies grow, they become more alert, more active, and less flexible, which can make certain poses more challenging. Booking early helps ensure we can capture those soft, sleepy, timeless images you love.
Limited Availability
Because each session requires a lot of preparation and time, I only take on a limited number of newborn bookings each month.
By booking early—usually during your pregnancy—you secure a spot in my calendar around your due date. This means you won’t miss out, especially during busy periods.

Booking ahead gives you one less thing to think about once your baby arrives.
Those early days can be overwhelming, filled with feeding, settling, and adjusting to a new routine. Knowing your session is already booked and planned allows you to simply enjoy your baby without added stress.

Your session is scheduled based on your due date, and once your baby arrives, we adjust the exact date if needed. Whether your baby comes earlier or later, I will work with you to find the perfect time.
